These homemade donuts are classic recipes I made since I was a child. I always feel extra nostalgia when I do this.

I can't help thinking of me today, knocking on the donut with my fingers and letting my nose inhale the smell of fresh homemade donuts, because I think it has been five years since she left us for a better place.
Homemade donuts are scattered in sugar in the foreground, and a stack of doughnuts are soaked in the background.

Quick annotation about yeast - I know many people feel nervous when working with yeast, but it's actually much simpler than it sounds. Donuts won't be so ventilated without it.
In fact, whether you use yeast donut recipes or not, you will eventually eat cake doughnuts or ventilated donuts. I prefer yeast donuts to rich cake donuts, especially sweet and sugary coatings!
Because this donut uses yeast, you will want to plan ahead of schedule. The yeast donut recipe takes about 2-3 hours to rise up in total, so this is a good recipe to get up and prepare the first thing in the morning before everyone gets up.

Instructions on How to make simple donuts?
Stir 2 tablespoons of warm water, 1/2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 1/2 tablespoons of activated dry yeast in a high cup. The leaves rise for 5-10 minutes, or until the volume and foam double.
If it doesn't rise and bubble, please discard yeast and buy a batch of fresh yeast before starting the recipe.
Make donut dough: mix 3 1/4 cups of flour, 1 cup of warm milk, 2 ounce room temperature butter, 3 egg yolk, 2 tablespoons of sugar and proofing yeast mixture in a low-speed blender, and fix it with dough hooks until the dough gets together for about 2 minutes.
Speed up slightly and knead for 15-20 minutes until the dough touches.
Shape doughnut dough: pick up the dough and make it into a ball. Apply a large bowl (for proofing), put the dough ball back into a lubricating bowl, and then oil the dough itself to prevent it from forming a shell.
Proof: cover it with a clean kitchen towel and put it in a warm and unventilated place, which can rise for 1-2 hours (depending on how warm it is) until it at least doubles in size.
Rush down, turn it over to the surface of the lubricant (you can use non-stick spray), and then scroll to 1⁄2 inches thick.
Use a 3-inch round biscuit cutter to cut as many bullets as possible and place 1 dough plate on 1 prepared parchment paper.
Continue to scroll again and cut as many doughnut disks as possible until all dough dough is used up.
The lid cuts the donut with a clean kitchen towel, which can rise 45 minutes to 1 hour or until it gets heavier.
Heat the oil in the heavy pot (cast iron) to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. To fry the donut, drop a few donuts at a time, and then keep it golden before turning to the other side, each side for about 1-2 minutes.
Transfer to the paper towel or wire rack to drain. Calm down.
Once the donuts are cooled to treat, roll them into sugar or powdered sugar.
